Evergreen example

Product A costs $40 with 20 servings and 25 g protein per serving. Product B costs $45 with 30 servings and 20 g protein per serving. Product A has 500 g protein at $0.08 per gram. Product B has 600 g protein at $0.075 per gram, so Product B is cheaper by protein gram.

What can mislead you

  • Scoop size: a larger scoop does not automatically mean better protein value.
  • Serving count: more servings can still mean less total protein.
  • Protein per serving: multiply this by serving count before comparing.
  • Container weight: total powder weight is not the same as total protein.
  • Sale labels and bulk tubs: use the final price and total protein grams.
